Client Organization:
This is a leading bank and has built long-term value and recorded consistent earnings growth by building on its core strengths and by executing exceptionally well in its core businesses. These include Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Government finance and Investment Banking.

a)Plans, coordinates & controls the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory functions at the Division level as established by Management.

b)Formulates the policies of the Retail Banking in compliance with the general policy of the Bank and regulatory requirements.

c)Monitors competitive behavior of local banks and new services developed by progressive banks and arranges to initiate new projects to enhance Bank’s products & services

d)Develops and maintains a pricing structure for interest, commission, etc.. which is consistent with management policies & competitive & profitable as well.

e)Approves / declines credit facilities within prescribed limitations & under established criteria.

f)Evaluates and assesses the recommended new projects and enhancement to existing systems & approves / disapproves to proceed further based on their practical merit. Evaluates & assesses the end result of implemented projects in light of cost saving, efficiency and faster services to customers

.g)Proposes, based on feasibility studies, opening new Branches or closing existing ones, aiming to increase Bank’s profitability.

h)Develops the operating and manpower budget of the Division & Observes expenditure to avoid over-run.

The candidate will be the main contact point for regulators .Secretary of the Group New Product Committee.Member Group Operational Risk Committee
Member Basel II Steering Committee Act as regulatory and compliance clearance function in relation to new products and processes.
Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative developments impacting AUB and the Group, communicate these to relevant staff and assist management to ensure compliance with applicable rules.
Assist with the identification and resolution of errors, complaints, regulatory queries, and internal and external inquiries.
Ensuring a program of AML training is conducted annually across all Group entities.
Manage and support the Group's compliance staff.

Profile He must a be Smart Banker, with great communication skills. Should also have an experince in handling a team.The candidate must have university Degree in Business Management discipline or equivalent. He should have at least 8 years in Managing Branch network.
